— According to the latest estimates, WWE has sold approximately 55,000 tickets for WrestleMania XXX, which is considered very good at this point. The legitimate capacity for the set-up they will be using in the arena is 70,000, although WWE will likely claim a figure of 82,000 or more. The current attendance record in the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans, the site of WrestleMania XXX, is 87,500 for a Rolling Stones cocert in 1981.
— As a reminder, WWE is trying out a new commentary team consisting of Michael Cole, JBL and The Miz at this Friday’s edition of WWE SmackDown.
— Apparently there were very few people within WWE that were aware that Kaitlyn was going to be leaving the company. Generally, many executives in the company will be aware of talent parting ways for weeks, or even months in advance of it actually happening.
