On Friday night, Rey Mysterio tweeted that he was backstage at WWE’s live event in Oakland, CA. Despite the tweet, he did not appear on the show. The following night in San Diego, CA, which is the hometown of Mysterio, WWE opted not to use him as he was instead at the WWE live event in San Jose, CA. At that show, Mysterio teamed up with Mark Henry and Xavier Woods to defeat the team of Alberto Del Rio, Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger. Following their win, Mysterio, Henry and Woods all wound up dancing. You can see a video of that below:
Speaking of Saturday night’s WWE live event in San Diego, CA, The Shile kicked off the show by cutting a promo regarding CM Punk not being there. There were refunds offered to fans in attendance and numerous “CM Punk” chants took place throughout the night.
