Gawker has filed a new motion in the lawsuit Hulk Hogan threw at them over the release of a clip from his sex tape. The website asked for emails between Hogan and his lawyer and publicist regarding Hogan’s media tour in October 2012, including appearances on The Howard Stern Show. The reason for this is that he spoke about his affairs and relationships and the company wants to show that there was a coordinated and planned effort to discuss the infidelity. This would help their argument that the tape posting was in the realm of public interest and that Hogan helps to promote that interest for his benefit.
The company had previously asked for the information, but Hogan’s side refused. They company also says that other documents they asked for are “heavily redacted.”
