In an interview with the Associated Press, both Hulk Hogan and Triple H commented on the Hulkster’s WWE return to host WrestleMania XXX. Here are highlights:
On making his return after six years: “I definitely want to stay here in the WWE. I just can’t see myself ever being anywhere else. This is home. It always has been home. In the twilight of my career, what a great way to be part of the final hurrah for Hulk Hogan and all the Hulkamaniacs.”
On if he’ll have a match at WrestleMania: “Right now, it’s not in the plans. But like they say in the WWE, never say never.”
On being WWE for life: “It looks like this was always the direction I was going to go in. It’s like I drifted apart from home base for a while. But this time, everything seems to be a perfect fit.”
Triple H on Hogan’s return: “It’s time for him to come home. I don’t think there’s ever been a doubt that Hulk Hogan was, in some way, a WWE commodity.”
Meanwhile, Hogan also commented on the reaction to the news on Twitter. He wrote:
The WRESTLEMANIA return of Hulkamania has turned into a monster already,I'm so grateful to be back home brother HH
