While at the Deutsche Bank Media, Internet & Telecom Conference in Palm Beach, Florida, CBS Corp. president and CEO Leslie Moonves said that The Big Bang Theory could be moving to Mondays this fall.
The Big Bang Theory is consistently one of CBS’ top rated shows, so if it moves opposite Monday Night RAW it could draw some viewers away from the program. It would likely go to Mondays to help CBS’ comedy lineup, especially with How I Met Your Mother ending its run at the end of the season. CBS’ newer shows could be programmed around Big Bang to help them find an audience. Big Bang also has to move because CBS has acquired the NFL’s Thursday night football games.
