More Ultimate Warrior Tributes – MLB Players & Runners

— Following the passing of the Ultimate Warrior, there was a large surge in sales for the new “Ultimate Warrior: The Ultimate Collection” DVD and Blu-ray set.

— Florida Marlins first baseman Garrett Jones is using the Ultimate Warrior’s theme song as his music before each home at bat (according to The New York Daily News). He previously told TMZ that he was a fan of wrestling and inspired by Warrior, but never got to see him live. He changed his Twitter background to the Warrior as well.

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones has also used Warrior’s music as his own while at bat.
