The National Wrestling Alliance has continued its national expansion by welcoming NWA Appalachia and its promoter, Tyson Smith.
Smith, a former NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion and winner of multiple NWA regional championships, as well as television personality, has purchased the defunct NWA Bluegrass promotion and will continue on its lineage and championships.
NWA Appalachia will host events across eastern Kentucky and southwestern West Virginia, beginning with Ceredo Kenova, WV on May 10 and Matewan, WV on May 31.
Smith says, “I am excited about bringing the greatest wrestling in the world, the NWA, back to the greatest wrestling fans in the world, the Appalachian fans.”
