Ricardo Rodriguez’ Masked Gimmick Returns, New WWE Talent?

— Gerald Brisco has been scouting new WWE talents as of late and is said to be very high on University of Minnesota heavyweight Tony Nelson. We’re told Nelson won NCAA titles in 2012 and 2013. He made it to the finals this year but wound up losing. There is no word on if he will be signing with WWE but most expect him to make a decision in the very near future.

— At Friday night’s WWE NXT live event in Largo, FL, WWE talent Ricardo Rodriguez worked under a mask portraying his El Local character. He ended up losing to The Ascension’s “Konnor.” WWE NXT talent Kalisto was in the corner of El Local while “Viktor” was in the corner of Konnor.

— As noted earlier, WWE Diva JoJo shared the ring announcing duties with Devin Taylor at Friday night’s WWE NXT event in Largo, FL.
