Daniel Bryan Not On SmackDown This Week?, Shaul Guerrero

— According to the local advertising in Buffalo, New York, Daniel Bryan is not scheduled to appear at Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown tapings. Of course, that could easily change. For what it’s worth, John Cena is advertised for the SmackDown TV tapings. Both Cena and Bryan are booked for Monday’s RAW at the Times Union Center in Albany NY as the advertised dark match features Daniel Bryan and John Cena teaming up to face Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt.

— Just to recap something we reported earlier, WWE NXT Diva Raquel Diaz (aka Shaul Guerrero) was released from WWE earlier this week. Because she was just recently paired up with Baron Corbin as part of a gimmick makeover, it’s being said that there were no definitive plans to release her from the company as we noted earlier. Diaz had a reputation of not taking training seriously and was also someone who would consistently request time off. Additionally, she actually quit the company during her initial run, but eventually opted to make a return. As of right now there is no word as to whether or not Corbin will continue to work under his new biker persona, a gimmick that Diaz was originally planned to be a part of.
