» There were reports several weeks ago that Booker T could return to World Wrestling Entertainment as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble. TNAWrestlingNews.com reports that the multi-time champion has had discussions with WWE officials in recent weeks regarding a possible return to the company although as of last word talks had fallen through. Part of the reason for that is because Booker wanted a limited house show schedule. Of course, anything could change.
» Dana White recently said that Shane McMahon was looking to do some consulting work for UFC but did not know if they would make a deal. Apparently Shane, through intermediary and former WWE employee Carl DeMarco, has been looking at getting involved with the Strikeforce MMA promotion. We’ll keep you posted but it appears Shane is definitely interested in doing something MMA related. To kill a big rumor amongst many fans, there have been absolutely no talks between Shane and TNA Wrestling.
» TNA star Jesse Neal was given a verbal lashing backstage at the “Final Resolution” pay-per view for taking an unprotected chair shot during his match. TNAWrestlingNews.com reports that he was lectured for not putting his hands up to protect himself from the blow.
