WWE is considering the idea of giving wrestlers actual time off in order to rest up and recharge themselves. Obviously this has huge potential benefits as it would avoid the risk of talent becoming burned out or exacerbating injuries because they’re working hurt, although there is concern among some that it would make house show runs trickier without John Cena or Daniel Bryan headlining.
The discussions are noted as a potential “down the line” strategy.
