TMZ reports that WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas has made it known he wants to wrestle at an upcoming event set to be held in Pyongyang, North Korea later this August. The event is being organized by famous promoter Antonio Inoki.
The 70-year-old Atlas has reportedly said he would be proud to lace up his boots for a match there. Atlas said on the subject of performing there, “If Mr. USA wins his match, the people of North Korea will have freedom from oppression … and Mr. USA always fights for freedom and righteousness.” He added that he is anxious to get a call from the event’s organizer, Antonio Inoki.
