Late last night I got a text message from a reliable source in TNA telling me that there had been an altercation backstage between Awesome Kong and Bubba The Love Sponge at the iMPACT! tapings. I figured I’d sleep on it (not knowing if it was real) and get more in the morning.
Well, as of several minutes ago I can confirm it’s real. I am still trying to get more details but I’m told that Kong approached Bubba earlier in the day and confronted him over his recent Haiti comments. One thing led to another and the next thing you know Kong was hauling away real punches at Bubba. Several people came over and broke the fight up.
