— Adam Hale sent this one in: If you are interested, Brutus Beefcake was advertised to appear at a local independent show in Glasgow KY this past Saturday night. The show was a benefit show for a kid who has cancer. According to the promoter, Beefcake was paid his deposit and then two weeks after receiving the deposit he had his girlfriend call to say he couldn’t make the show. The show did feature Buff Bagwell beating Simon Dean and Rhino defeating Chase Stevens

— The Junkyard Dog passed away on this day in 1998 at the age 45. He died in a single car accident near Forest, Mississippi.
