Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins & Kane Kick Off RAW

This week’s show opens up with highlights of last week’s show, particularly the Brock Lesnar-Seth Rollins stuff and the destruction of the Cadillac.

From there, we shoot live inside the arena in Atlanta, Georgia to see the smashed up car at the top of the stage. Then, Brock Lesnar’s music hits and out he comes with Paul Heyman.

When the music dies down, the fans start chanting “Suplex City” before Heyman can say anything. Lesnar smiles. Heyman does his normal introduction.

Heyman goes on to promote Lesnar’s match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday at WWE Battleground against Seth Rollins. He stresses how rare it is to see Lesnar enter the ring as a challenger.

Rollins comes out with Kane. Rollins looks at his smashed up car and asks Lesnar if he’s proud of himself. Lesnar smiles. Rollins says at Battleground he’s going to go to Suplex City and burn it to the ground. Lesnar says he can take him to Suplex City tonight “bitch.”

Kane goes on to chime in to announce that Rollins and Lesnar will have their official Battleground contract signing tonight. As Kane goes on to talk, Paul Heyman cuts him off. Heyman mocks Kane by telling Lesnar he thinks they’re about to be threatened by The Undertaker’s baby brother. The fans chant “baby brother” and Kane looks pissed.

Heyman apologizes, saying maybe he shouldn’t have brought that up. He says he knows he’s not supposed to talk about Lesnar kicking his brother’s ass at WrestleMania.

Heyman says his client is going to come to the contract signing in peace unless Rollins breaks the 11th commandment — thou shall not purposely piss off Brock Lesnar. He says if he does, Suplex City will come here tonight in Atlanta,GA. Lesnar’s music hits and Rollins and Kane leave. The announcers sell the contract signing for later in the show and then we head to our first commercial break of the evening.

Randy Orton & Ryback vs. Sheamus & Big Show

Just before we head to the break, we are informed that up next will be a tag-team match featuring Randy Orton and Ryback taking on Sheamus and Big Show. We head to a break.

When we return from the break, after a bunch of video highlights bringing everyone up to speed on the feuds involved in this match with these four Superstars, we head to the ring. The team of Orton and Ryback come out first, followed by the team of Sheamus and Big Show.

Sheamus and Ryback kick things off for their respective teams. Ryback quickly gains the upper hand, knocks Sheamus out to the floor and plays to the crowd as we head to a mid-match commercial break.

We’re back from the break and we see Orton taking it to Sheamus. He tags in Ryback and the big man picks up where The Viper left off. We head to another mid-match commercial.

And we’re back from our second commercial of the match to see Big Show and Sheamus easily in control now, as they are taking turns beating down Orton.

Ryback gets the hot tag and starts taking out any-and-everything that is in front of him. The smoke clears and it’s just Ryback and Sheamus. Ryback takes out Sheamus and starts calling for the Shellshock until The Miz, who was on commentary, gets on the house mic and distracts Ryback.

Sheamus tries to take advantage of the distraction, but Ryback nails him with a Meathook clothesline. Miz distracts him again and this time Big Show KOs Ryback. He goes to do the same to Miz but Miz runs to the back. Big Show chases him to the back. Orton hits an RKO on Sheamus and Ryback hits a big slpash on him off the ropes. 1-2-3.

Winner: Stardust

WWE Battleground Contract Signing
– Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar

Seth Rollins and Kane make their way to the ring. Rollins whines and complains about Lesnar and then talks again about how he is going to burn Suplex City to the ground this Sunday at Battleground.

This leads to Lesnar’s theme hitting. Lesnar and Paul Heyman make their way to the ring. Heyman tells the story of Lesnar-Rollins, explaining that is why Lesnar can’t wait to get his hands on Rollins this Sunday.

Heyman goes on to say everyone wants to see Rollins get his ass kicked and this Sunday, the fans are going to get their money’s worth. He lists the moves and punishment Rollins will be forced to endure this Sunday. He closes by telling Rollins that he will be going to Suplex City.

With that said, Rollins signs the contract. Heyman whispers something into Lesnar’s ear and then he signs the contract. Heyman says, “Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!” and tells Rollins to put his hands on the table.

Rollins tells Heyman he’s paranoid. Lesnar flips the table over and discovers a big stick under the table that Rollins was apparently reaching for. The fans chant Suplex City as Lesnar holds the big stick and slams it on the table, which he set back up. He calmly sits down and tells Rollins to do the same.

Rollins pretends to sit down and quickly yanks the stick and backs up and smiles. He approaches Lesnar but Lesnar picks the table up and smashes it into Rollins like a baseball bat. Lesnar takes out Kane on the floor and catches Rollins who leaped over the top. Kane ends up knocking Lesnar down from behind. He puts the puts to Lesnar and Rollins joins him.

Rollins grabs the big stick and smashes it into Lesnar on the floor. Rollins puts the boots to Lesnar and picks him up. He throws him into Kane, who catches him coming in and slams the steel steps into Lesnar’s face.

Kane picks Lesnar up and brings him over to Rollins. Lesnar ends up picking up Rollins and slamming him into the barricade. He charges over to Kane and picks him up and F-5’s him on the floor. Rollins jumps the barricade and runs through the crowd to the back.

Lesnar walks back over to Kane and puts his leg on one half of the steel steps. He takes the other half and slams it down onto Kane’s leg. Kane screams in pain. Lesnar walks into the ring and grabs the WWE title. He holds it up high, his music plays and the fans go wild. We see Rollins watching on from the crowd as Lesnar poses with his title. We see replays of Lesnar’s carnage.

Rollins gets in the ring after Lesnar leaves and he gets on the mic. He says Lesnar thinks he’s untouchable. He says Lesnar ran through everybody, but he didn’t run through Seth Rollins. Rollins picks his title up and says at WrestleMania, he took this title from Lesnar because he’s better than Lesnar and in six days at Battleground, he will do what no other man on this earth can do — I will prove again that you are not a machine, you are not a monster. You are a man with a pulse and you can be beat. He says he will rip his stupid sword tattoo off his chest and he will forever be known as the man who slayed the beast.

Rollins goes to leave and sees the trainers working on Kane who is still hurting from having his leg smashed. Rollins yells at Kane and asks if this was his big plan to get rid of Lesnar. He asks Kane how that worked out for him. He says it worked out like his whole career worked out — one big disappointment. He tells Kane he is nothing without him. He says he’s not with him anymore so now he’s nothing. He calls him a never-was and a wannabe Hall of Famer. Kane looks at him angry but still selling. Rollins drops the mic and stomps on Kane’s leg. He picks his title up and leaves to the back as Kane screams in pain. The Battleground “go-home” edition of RAW goes off the air on that note.
