ITV Delays World of Sport TV Tapings

ITV is currently expected to announce TV tapings for their revival of the World of Sport wrestling show have been delayed till a later date. According to sources close to PWInsider, an official announcement is set to be made next week.

After airing a special pilot episode during last New Year’s Eve, ITV had plans for a ten episode season to be taped on May 25 and May 26 at Preston Guild Hall. Sudden logistical and scheduling issues late into preparations ended up making it impossible for ITV to be ready on time for the tapings. Ticket sales were reported to not have been an issue nor play a role in these delays.
