Former WWE superstars Umaga and Ken Kennedy wrestled each other over the weekend at the World Wrestling Council’s 36th Anniversary Show Results from Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Umaga defeated Kennedy after a Samoan spike. According to live reports from the show, Kennedy did his usual microphone gimmick and showed no signs of injury. He recently wrote on his Twitter page that WWE allowed him to perform at the show despite the fact that he’s still sitting out his 90 day no-compete clause.
WWE’s Night of Champions Pay-Per-View takes place later this month on Sunday, July 26th. WWE has billed the event as a night where every championship will be on the line, but as of this writing, no opponents have been named for Rey Mysterio (IC Champion), Kofi Kingston (US Champion) or Michelle McCool (Women’s Champion).
