WWE Release Confirmed, Bourne Backstage Note, Lilian/WWE

The new commercial airing on SyFy right now featuring Evan Bourne promoting ECW on Tuesday night’s (including him holding the ECW Championship) was cut at the time when the plan was for Bourne to win the title on the brand when the network name change was made. For whatever reason, those plans were changed and Bourne was moved to the Raw brand in late June.

WWE referee Marty Elias (Marty Rubalcaba) has in fact been released from WWE.

Lilian Garcia stated today on her Twitter account that Aug. 24 may not be her final show. “Not necessarily,” Garcia wrote. “That’s just my schedule thus far. My final day has not been confirmed.”
