MMAScoops.com is reporting that former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has quit the promotion. He and UFC President Dana White had been going back and forth over the last couple of weeks due to Rampage taking the role of B.A. Baracus in the new A-Team movie, and apparently that was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
“I’m done fighting,” Jackson stated. “I’ve been getting negative reviews from the dumb ass fans that don’t pay my bills or put my kids though college. So I’m hanging it up. I’m gonna miss all my loyal fans but hopefully they’ll follow me to my new career & I will gain more loyal fans along the way.”
Rampage noted his frustrations with how he’s been dealt with by the UFC over the years and has apparently had enough.
