— WWE is testing the waters with something new, selling promos on iTunes. As noted last night, WWE released the Rock concert from Monday’s RAW, in a five minute clipped version, for $1.29. It is listed as “WWE: Rock’s Concert (The Rock) – Single.”
— Linda McMahon held her first news conference yesterday at a local woodworking company to present jobs-related proposals. They included tax cuts for the middle class (25 to 15 percent), tax cuts for businesses, and a simplified tax code for businesses. McMahon’s chief Republican opponent, Chris Shays, does not agree with the strategy and stated the following through a spokesperson… “McMahon’s proposal makes our annual trillion dollar deficits even worse by proposing huge tax cuts with no spending offsets. This is irresponsible and politics as usual.”
— USA Network’s Rock vs. Cena now has a title. The special will be titled Rock/Cena – Once In A Lifetime, and will debut on Monday March 26th before Raw. The one hour special also replays on March 31st at 9AM ET.
— WWE.com has a photo gallery of all-time “dream opponents” for the Undertaker at WrestleMania. The list includes Sting, Andre the Giant, Randy Savage, Rey Mysterio, One Man Gang, Bret Hart, Bruiser Brody and Mr. Perfect.
