Possible Match Announced For RAW, WrestleCon Event Planned

— Alex Riley announced via Tout that he will be facing Cody Rhodes tonight and that he wanted to hear from fans how they wanted him to beat him. He did not say that the match would be on RAW, but he did note that fans would see the match, so it will be on Superstars at the least. As noted earlier, John Cena also posted a video on Tour teasing a “major announcement” tonight on RAW regarding his Money in the Bank win status.

— Highspots and WWNLive.com have announced via press release that the first annual WrestleCon will take place from April 5th through 7th of next year at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. The convention will include live shows from Dragon Gate USA, CHIKARA, SHIMMER, CZW and EVOLVE and will include several legendary guests, veendors and more. The schedule is below:

Friday, April 5th:
4:00 PM – EVOLVE
8:00 PM – Combat Zone Wrestling

Saturday, April 6th:
9 AM – 5 PM – WrestlExpo
12:00 PM – SHIMMER
4:00 PM – CHIKARA
8:00 PM – Dragon Gate USA

Sunday, April 7th:
9 AM – 2 PM – WrestlExpo
1 PM – Dragon Gate USA

Tickets for all events go on sale on September 5th.
