— CM Punk was not backstage at the show. As noted earlier, Punk has not been on the road with WWE this week for the holiday live events tour. He wrote on Twitter that he was at a concert Thursday night and not at WWE’s house show from Madison Square Garden in New York City. The concert he attended was for a band named “Bouncing Souls”. They were playing a show in New Jersey on Thursday night. He is friends with the band and previously used their “Night Train” song as his farewell song in Ring of Honor.

— Paul Heyman’s family was also in attendance at the show.
