TNA has reportedly promoted Bob Ryder to a position for finding and acquiring new talent. Ryder, who previously was in charge of talent booking and travel scheduling, is said to have been promoted by Executive Vice President of Television Production “Big” John Gaburick. He previously worked with WCW’s website before WWE bought that company.
One source said that the reaction within TNA was that the promotion was “laughable” considering that Ryder has no experience as a wrestler. The move is being compared by some to that of a person plays fantasy football becoming the General Manager of an NFL team.
