WWE has bought more footage to add to their wrestling tape archive. The company bought some 8mm and Super 8 footage filmed by George Pantas of house show footage from the 1970s in Norfolk and Hampton, Virginia. The footage was used in the Jim Crocket Promotions documentary released last year.
The footage is the kind that the company can use in clips and the like for Legends-type roundtables, historical documentaries and the like. The company has also bought some memorabilia from collectors that feature legends like Lou Thesz and WWE Hall of Famers.
