As previously reported, Davey Richards broke his leg during a match on the August 15th TNA house show in Indiana, Pennsylvania and is expected to be out four to six weeks. We’re told Richards will definitely miss the upcoming Japan tour with Wrestle-1 and will be replaced by Tigre Uno. However, he is expected to be back in time for Bound for Glory in October.
The source notes that there is a chance that Richards could even be back in time for the TV tapings in late September, though that isn’t certain by any stretch. TNA has shows already taped through the end of September and as such will likely not mention Richards’ injury in the hopes he can be back by the time on the PPV and next iMPACTs.
