UPDATE: There is currently no timetable for Daniel Bryan’s in-ring return. While Bryan posted on Instagram that he wants to be back in time for WrestleMania 31, he still needs an additional elbow surgery.
According to sources, any report on when Bryan could return is merely speculation. WWE was originally hoping to have Bryan back at the 2015 Royal Rumble event in January or possibly earlier, but his rehab process for regaining strength in his right arm has not gone as well as expected.
At autograph signings, fans have said that there is a big different in muscle mass in his right and left arms. His health left arm looks its proper shape, but his right arm is said to be noticeably smaller.
ORIGINAL: It was revealed during the SmackDown tapings that Daniel Bryan needs to have another surgery done on his arm. The Big Show made the announcement to start off the show, after which he led the group in a “YES!” chant to support Bryan.
Bryan has of course been out of action since June and has been in rehab ever since. It was hoped that he wouldn’t require a second surgery but obviously he will at this point. No word on how long he may be out at this point.
