— As previously reported, Alberto “El Patron” Del Rio is in talks with Bellator MMA about a deal to fight for the promotion. El Patron is in talks with another MMA company as well and unsurprisingly, he will be signing with the better money offer.

A source adds that in terms of his Ring of Honor work, El Patron asked specifically to work with ACH. Patron wants to work with ACH because he believes ACH is very talented and comes from San Antonio. He has also asked to work with Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly.

– As noted earlier, WWE is pushing Hideo Itami’s Japanese WWE debut hard for their July house show tour of the country. The company is set for a July 3rd show in Tokyo and July 4th at Sumo Hall and the company has been airing NXT on Japan now that Itami is in the development promotion.

NXT airs on J Sports in Japan, which also aired the NXT Takeover R Evolution show live.

– Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT will look back at the promotion’s 2014 highlights, as well as Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks for the NXT Women’s Title and a Ric Flair appearance.
