Mike Tenay has reportedly signed a new deal with TNA, and he will be staying with the company at least through the next year. However, how Tenay will remain involved with the company on air is a bit of a question mark. The current plan is to replace him at the announce table with Josh Matthews.
Previously, Jim Ross had reportedly contacted TNA about loaning Tenay for the upcoming NJPW Tokyo Dome show set for next month because Ross wanted a two-man booth for the event. In exchange, Ross would plug the TNA product on the PPV. Unfortunately, TNA turned the offer down.
