According to sources, WWE NXT star CJ Parker was released from his WWE NXT deal this past Saturday. Parker reportedly requested his release and it was granted on amicable terms.

WWE actually allowed him to wrestle his final matches on the Saturday and Sunday AXXESS sessions. That tells you that they parted ways on very good terms.

Parker was originally trained by ROH star Truth Martini and signed a WWE developmental deal in 2011.
