While the on-camera talent is reportedly receiving their checks from TNA on time now, the company is still behind on paying the production crew. According to sources, the crew is still owed money for the March TV tapings and several people believe that they were shorted on money for the February tapings.
The same thing happened last year and many of the crew members ended up eventually refusing to work until they were paid in full. The May 8th tapings could give the crew the leverage they need as it’s a taping for several weeks of TV but they don’t have time to delay it, because the May 8th show would only have a few hours of delay until it aired.
One unnamed wrestler was late in pay recently and said he had told the office that if he wasn’t paid on time, he would go to work for Global Force Wrestling. The office reportedly straightened things out “very quickly.”
