Following the success of some recent matches and crowd reactions, there is at least talk within WWE of doing a NXT special where the women go on last in the main event position.
Of course this would depend on the persona’s and storylines involved, however, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in particular have been behind the idea of changing the way women are used in WWE, particularly because of the success of Ronda Rousey in the UFC and in the mainstream public.
If it were to happen, it would be the first time that WWE has ever truly promoted a women’s match as the legitimate main event of an important, high-profile show.
