— It was announced at Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings that WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose will defend against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble in a Last Man Standing match.

— Alberto Del Rio is WWE United States Champion once again after defeating Kalisto at Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings. Del Rio reclaimed the title with help from King Barrett just one night after losing it on RAW. The match airs this Thursday on the USA Network.
