Alberto Del Rio Involved In Backstage Fight In Mexico, Del Rio Comments

UPDATE: Alberto Del Rio posted the following to Twitter, confirming reports that his fight with Alan Xtreme was over his belief that Xtreme acted inappropriately toward Paige:

Just to clarify. If you inappropriately touch my fiancee in front of my face you have to prepare to learn a lesson. #Respect

ORIGINAL: Luchablog reports that Alberto Del Rio was involved in a backstage fight at the Arena Naucalpan in Mexico this weekend. Del Rio and Paige were there for an IWRG show to see Del Rio’s brother, El Hijo de Dos Cara, wrestle in the main event.

Local star Alan Xtreme was backstage and it’s believed that Del Rio thought Xtreme either touched him or Paige. The two began to hit each other and a brawl then spilled into a hallway that connects the locker room to the fans’ entrance. Many fans saw what happened. Del Rio’s condition is unknown but Alan’s face was said to be in “bad shape. He was, however, in stable condition. Both Paige and Del Rio were said to be drinking before the fight happened.
