Samoa Joe did not compete at Thursday night’s WWE NXT live show, announcing that he was not cleared. He instead watched the main event of Shinsuke Nakamura & Tye Dillinger vs. Bobby Roode & Andrade “Cien” Almas from ringside.
Joe has seemed to be less involved in his last few matches at the NXT show in Melbourne, Australia on 12/8, the Newcastle show on 12/10, the Gold Coast show on 12/12 and the Sydney show on 12/13, all of which saw Joe not take any major spots or do too much work in the ring. All of this would point to Joe having an injury, but there is no official word on that yet.
