Kurt Angle Teases at In-Ring Return to Happen in Near Future

During a recent interview with Esquire Middle East, Kurt Angle revealed he has yet to take a medical physical for the WWE since his return but thinks it will happen once the WWE is ready to allow him back in the ring. Angle stated he believes its only a matter of time till the WWE has plans for him to wrestle again and have the physical needed to be taken.


NJPW to Hold Another US-based Event in 2018

During Sunday’s event of the G1 Special in the United States, New Japan Pro Wrestling’s chairman Naoki Sugabayashi announced the company will hold another event in the United States next year. While no other details were announced, NJPW could possibly be considering the idea of making the G1 Special be an annual event for the US.


Anthem Sports to Air Unseen GFW Amped Tapings as One Night Only Specials

Global Force Wrestling and Anthem Sports recently announced the never-before-seen TV tapings of GFW Amped from 2015 will air later this year as One Night Only Specials. The reason is due to Anthem’s recent purchase of GFW included these tapings among the assets bought and decided to air them for the first time on TV.

The series is called the Amped Anthology with the first of four episodes to be shown on pay-per-view and the Fite App on August 11.


Update on Jim Cornette and Vince Russo News

As previously reported, Jim Cornette and Vince Russo recent online feud took a drastic twist when Russo filed a restraining order against Cornette. Besides offering an apology, Cornette also stated he would sell autographed copies of the court order to help raise money for a children’s charity.

In a recent tweet by Jim Cornette, he revealed he managed to raise over $1000 for the WHAS Crusade for Children charity from the first two days of autograph sales.
