ROH Reveals Main Event Matches for Next Month’s War of the Worlds Tour

ROH recently announced the main event matches for next month’s ROH-NJPW War of the Worlds tour.

The May 9th show at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts was announced to have a dual-main event with a tag team match of The Young Bucks versus BUSHI & Hiromu Takahashi and a ROH World Championship match of Matt Taven versus champion Dalton Castle.

The main event for the May 11th show at the Ted Reeve Arena in Toronto, Canada was announced to be an IWGP United States Championship match of Punishment Martinez versus champion Jay White.

The main event for the May 13th show at the Odeum in Villa Park, Illinois was announced to be a 10-Man tag team match of Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI, SANADA, EVIL, & Hiromu Takahashi versus The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), Cody, Marty Scurll, & Adam Page.


MLW Signs Multi-Year Deal with Tony Schiavone

Major League Wrestling announced that they signed a multi-year deal with Tony Schiavone for their new weekly MLW Fusion television series. The new deal allows Schiavone the ability to continue his work on the What Happened When podcast show and his job with the Georgia Bulldogs Radio Network.

Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

MCW Pro Wrestling announced that Mick Foley will be making an appearance at their May 12th in Joppa, Maryland.

EVOLVE announced that the card for their May 20th show in Livonia, Michigan features an Evolve Championship match of Keith Lee versus champion Matt Riddle. The stipulation for the match was announced to be no rope breaks allowed.

Game Changer Wrestling and Low-Ki are currently reported to be in a dispute, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet. Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin reported that the dispute revolves around Low-Ki not appearing at GCW’s Bloodsport event during WrestleMania 34 week. GCW claims Low-Ki owes them the deposit he was paid upfront for not appearing at the event. Low-Ki claims he was unable to appear due to a sudden injury and had to spend the deposit on travel accommodations needed for the event.
