99% of people in WWE, including the announce team, had no idea that Roman Reigns was going to announce that he was battling leukemia on Raw on Monday, according to PWInsider.
That would explain why the announce team seemed normal and energetic at the start of the show, then seemed legitimately shocked and upset after Reigns’ announcement.
Only the “most upper-tier members of WWE management” knew about the announcement, PWInsider says.
