Kurt Angle is currently scheduled to be at next week’s Raw in San Diego, according to PWInsider. It’s not known if he’ll be on TV or if he’ll just be backstage.
The timing is interesting because it’ll be the Raw after TLC and we’ll presumably know the fate of Baron Corbin as Raw General Manager by then. Kurt Angle was sent on a “temporary vacation” a few months ago by Stephanie McMahon and Corbin replaced him as GM.
Angle has been off TV since losing to Drew McIntyre on the November 5 Raw.
Two Weeks of Raw Being Taped
WWE will tape two weeks worth of Raw on Monday because of Christmas coming up.
The first will be the regular live Raw, then there will be a taping afterwards for the December 24 Raw. It’ll be in San Diego, so it’ll still be 8 PM local time when the live Raw ends.
The next Raw will then be taped on Friday, December 28 and that will air on December 31.
Raw will go back to airing live on January 7.
WWE will also tape another SmackDown episode after the live one this Tuesday (to air on December 25), and the New Year’s Day SmackDown will be taped on Saturday, December 29.
