More on AEW vs. NXT Week 30 Viewership

The April 22nd episodes of AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT saw AEW end NXT’s two-week reign on top in terms of overall viewership and AEW continuing their advantage over NXT in the key demographic ranking.

AEW Dynamite drew 731,000 viewers on TNT and a #24 ranking in 18-49 demographic while NXT drew 665,000 viewers on USA Network and a #50 ranking in 18-49 demographic.

The results of the quarter-hour segment breakdowns were not revealed in this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter but Dave Meltzer reported that both shows were up in the 18-49 demographic group with AEW having 325,000 viewers and NXT having 234,000 viewers. Canadian Viewership for AEW’s April 15th & 22nd Shows, NXT’s April 17th Show

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AEW Dynamite drew 41,700 viewers for their April 15th show and 119,800 viewers for their April 22nd show on TSN in Canada. Meltzer reported that one reason why AEW Dynamite’s numbers have declined in recent weeks is due to TSN moving the show from TSN 4 to TSN 2 without ever making an official announcement of the show changing channels.

WWE NXT drew 48,100 viewers for their April 17th show on Sportsnet 360 in Canada.
