Episodes Featuring Joey Ryan Pulled from Being The Elite YouTube Series

The producers of the Being The Elite series on YouTube announced that they are in the process of removing all episodes that featured Joey Ryan, who has been accused of multiple incidents of sexual abuse.

Official statement:

Hi guys and girls. We hope this video provides an escape, or even maybe makes you laugh during these tough times. We love you all.

Out of respect to the victims, we have began the process of taking down BTE videos which featured an accused serial sexual abuser. Our biggest regret is providing a platform unknowingly to such a despicable person. Our hearts go out to the victims and anyone else affected.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that the episodes removed at the time of his report were episodes #82, #83, and #109 which all featured Joey Ryan.

Ring of Honor announced that they have recently signed ring announcer Bobby Cruise to a new contract with the company.

ROH also announced that they will be airing a special tribute episode of ROH TV to the late Hana Kimura. This episode will be airing next month.

PROGRESS Wrestling announced that they are shutting down for the foreseeable future in response to their recent shakeup in management and the on-going abuse allegations within the British wrestling industry. The company also announced that they will not reopen until they are happy with the changes they have made.

WrestleCon recently announced that their next WrestleCon convention will be taking place from March 25-28, 2021 in Los Angeles, California. This year’s convention was originally scheduled to take place during WrestleMania 36 weekend in Tampa, Florida but was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
