Santana & Ortiz vs. Best Friends

Best Friends jump Santana and Ortiz as they make their entrance and the two teams brawl around the ring. Chuckie T attempts to Suplex Santana on the floor but Santana reverses it and Ortiz throws Trentylocks into one of the tunnels. As PNP double team Chuck, Trent dives off the stage onto PNP with a Plancha.

Trent attempts to Suplex Santana onto the ring steps but Ortiz cuts him off and slams him into the steps. Taylor tosses Santana over the guardrail and then starts setting up a bunch of chairs next to the ring. Trent Spears Ortiz on the floor as we see Taylor literally stacking chairs on top of each other in a sick looking pyramid. Santana throws a chair and just destroys Taylor’s face with it.

Santana drags Taylor onto the stage and then tosses him off through the stack of chairs. Santana and Trent climb into the ring and the match officially begins as Trent hits a Meteora. Ortiz trips Trent and then he eats a Pump Kick from Santana followed by a Suplex onto the ropes. Ortiz tags in and PNP connect with a Double Suplex for a nearfall.

Ortiz hits a Gutwrench Suplex and a Basement Dropkick. Santana tags into the match and Ortiz whips him into a backdrop from Trent. Trent avoids a charging Ortiz and then hits a Swinging DDT out of the corner. Ortiz rolls to the floor and Trent attempts to tag out but realizes his partner is laid out. So, Trent hits a Tope Suicida onto Ortiz on the floor and then attempts to Spear Santana but Santana leapfrogs him causing Trent to crash into the barricade.

PNP toss Trent back into the ring where PNP continue to double team him. Chuck finally comes back in with a hot tag and takes out PNP with strikes. They retreat to the floor but Taylor hits a Somersault Plancha over the top onto both of them. Back in the ring, Taylor hits Sole Food followed by a Falcon Arrow for a nearfall before Ortiz broke it up.

Taylor hits a Sunset Flip on Santana after avoiding a charging Ortiz but Santana still kicks out. Taylor knees Santana in the face and tags Trent back in. Trent hits a Flying Knee and goes for a springboard move but Ortiz trips him. Santana then knocks him off the apron onto the ring steps at ringside. Ortiz tosses Trent back in the ring where PNP go for the Street Sweeper. Taylor pulls Santana off the apron and Trent hits the Dudebuster! 1….2…NO Santana hangs Ortiz’s arm up in the ropes.

Santana tosses Taylor into the crowd and then pulls a baton out from under the ring and hits Trent in the back with it where the referee couldn’t see it. PNP connect with the Street Sweeper for the pin.

Winners: PNP via pinfall (Street Sweeper)

Backstage: MJF

MJF starts to cut a promo backstage when one of his assistants interrupts him to talk to his lawyer. The lawyer refuses to open the door, so Wardlow kicks it down and drags him out. MJF says his whole life he’s dreamed about being a World Champion and he knows he is scared of Moxley, but there is nothing scarier than getting in the way of his goals. He says that when men get in the way of his goals bad things happen. MJF literally threatens to throw him into a wood chipper if he doesn’t get in the ring with Moxley tonight.

8-Man Tag Team Match
SCU (Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels) & Private Party vs. The Young Bucks & Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy)

SCU do a Black Panther tribute in honor of Chadwick Boseman as they come to the ring. The winning team will face off against one another in a tag team match at All Out.

Daniels is wearing a Black Lives Matter shirt. Kazarian and Jungle Boy start off with some nice chain wrestling to start off. Matt Jackson and Quen come in and speed things up with some nice tag action. A fan at ringside taunts Matt with an Adam Page sign, so Jackson snatches it away and throws his beer at him. Daniels and Nick Jackson tag in and Nick lays Daniels out with a spin kick.

Nick starts to tag one of the Jurassic Express but stops and tags his brother instead. Nick catapults Daniels into a Forearm Smash from Matt followed by a Springboard Ghetto Stomp. Daniels manages to come back and shove the brothers into each other and then connects with a Back Suplex on Nick.

Jungle Boy and Kazarian tag in again and Kazarian is on fire with strikes capped off with a Lariat. Nick tries for a springboard move but Kazarian catches him with a Slingshot Cutter and then clotheslines him to the floor. Daniels hits a Split Legged Moonsault onto The Bucks on the floor. Kazarian hits a Springboard Guillotine Leg Drop on Jungle Boy for a nearfall.

Kazarian tags Kassidy by slapping his chest and then Private Party double Jungle Boy with a Flapjack/Facebuster combo for a nearfall. Daniels tags in and connects with a Vertical Suplex for another nearfall.

Jungle Boy hits a Rack Drop on Kassidy and then makes a hot tag to Luchasaurus. Lucha kills everyone with strikes and caps off with a Double Chokeslam attempt on Private Party but they block it and hit a series of dropkicks. He avoids a Double Boot attempt and then moonsaults over them and connects with a Double Clothesline. Lucha hits a Moonsault off the apron onto SCU on the floor!

Lucha Double Chokeslams Private Party and then all four of them hit stereo Risky Businesses on Private Party! Matt Jackson goes for a Superkick but Kassidy blocks it only for Jungle Boy to get a blind tag in and hit a Lariat on Kassidy. SCU charge in and knock Jungle Boy’s partners off the apron. SCU hit a Neckbreaker/Powerbomb followed by a Swanton Bomb from Kassidy for a nearfall.

Daniels tags in and avoids a Superkick from a charging Matt Jackson causing Jungle Boy to eat it! Daniels hits a Uranage Suplex followed by a BME! Quen tags in and hits the Shooting Star Press! 1…2…NO Lucha breaks it up! Lucha kills Daniels with a Spinning Shining Wizard followed by a crazy double team move with Jungle Boy on Quen for a nearfall.

Lucha clotheslines Kassidy to the floor before tagging back in. Jungle Boy hits a Tope Suicida onto Kaz and Kassidy on the outside. Matt blind tags Lucha and then he and his brother kill Quen with the BTE Trigger for the pin.

Winners: Young Bucks & Jurassic Express via pinfall (BTE Trigger)

Backstage: Jake Hager, Orange Cassidy

Jake Hager walks into Orange Cassidy’s locker room and tells him that Jericho wants him to be ringside for his match tonight.

Backstage: FTR, Tully Blanchard

Backstage, Tully Blanchard gives FTR a pep talk. He says that they accomplished their first goal by winning the gauntlet and now the prize is in front of them. He says that they have to go take it because Page and Omega won’t just give it away. Cash says that this match is the most important match of their careers and he says their legacy means nothing if they don’t win it. Dax says he likes Adam Page but he likes the prestige and honor of being AEW Tag Team Champions a little more.

In-Ring: Kenny Omega, FTR, Hangman Adam Page

Tony Schiavone invites Kenny Omega to the ring and Omega comes out without Page wearing a shirt in tribute of Hana Kimura. Schiavone asks about Page getting thrown out of the Elite and he says Page will have to live with the decision he made. Omega says that Page got taken by FTR and that sort of thing happens but that doesn’t change the fact that they are going to beat FTR like they’ve beaten everyone else.

FTR comes out with Tully and a cooler. Dax says they don’t have a problem with Omega and they just want to have a great athletic contest this weekend and offer a toast to him. They offer a chocolate milk to Kenny and he calls them dickheads and says he doesn’t have to waste his time with them. He says it’s two-on-one but then notices Tully and laughs and says “well, sure, three-on-one” and says he doesn’t care. Omega taunts Tully and says he can smell his depends from there.

Adam Page walks through the tunnel and FTR taunt him and Dax tells Page to explain to Kenny who got in his head and exploited him. Dax says it wasn’t them and says the truth is it wasn’t them because that’s what Page wanted to do on his own. He says that Page is nothing more than an insecure little boy and says that he got into his own head. Dax tells Page to explain to Kenny how big of a piece of shit he is.

Omega holds Page back and tells him that they are just trying to get in his head again. They drop the titles and FTR pick them up before tossing them back on the ground as Page demands them back.

Backstage: Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho cuts a promo on his match this weekend against OC. He calls it the perfect culmination of their feud.

Chris Jericho vs. Joey Janela

Jeircho wears an OC shirt during this match and OC is sitting ringside. Jericho beats the hell out of Janela to start the match for several minutes before Janela finally connects with a series of rights. Janela hits a Flying Shoulder Block but then eats a clothesline as he came off the ropes. Jericho hits a series of knees and then tosses him out to the ramp. Janela comes back in with a springboard but crashes and burns right into a Codebreaker in midair. Jericho locks in the Liontamer but Janela is out cold.

Winner: Jericho via TKO (Liontamer)

In-Ring: Chris Jericho, Orange Cassidy, Jake Hager

Jericho continues to beat on Janela after the match. He pulls off one of the turnbuckles and slams Janela into the exposed metal. Janela is busted open and Jericho rubs the blood over the face of OC on the shirt and screams that it will be him on Saturday.

OC hits the ring and starts brawling with Jericho until Hager hits him from behind. Sonny Kiss runs out and attacks Jericho but Hager lays him out. OC knocks Hager to the floor and then hits Jericho with a Tornado DDT! Hager pulls Jericho away before OC could hit the Superman Punch. OC pulls out a bottle of the bubbly and pours it out.

Segment: Sammy Guevara, Matt Hardy

A video package highlights the feud between Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara.

During the commercials, Sammy Guevara came out onto the entrance ramp and showed signs to the camera as Matt Hardy watched him from above.

In-Ring: Taz, Ricky Starks, Brian Cage, Jake Roberts, Lance Archer, Eddie Kingston, Lots of Others

Taz leads Ricky Starks and Brian Cage out to the ring and he says that this weekend one of his boys will win the Casino Battle Royal and that is a fact. Taz says that Darby Allin is dead meat and so is Lance Archer and Jake Roberts. Taz taunts Archer and says he can’t deal with Cage.

Jake Roberts interrupts Taz and says that all Taz and his boys are is a bunch of squirrels looking to get a nut but they won’t get none as long as Lance Archer is around. Jake calls Team Taz the best set of losers he’s ever seen. Archer starts to go after them but Roberts stops him and tells him not to play their game.

Eddie Kingston leads his group out to the ring and tells Jake and Taz to shut up because everyone gets it, they’re legends and they want to run their mouths. Kingston says that Lance is a tough dude but he isn’t tougher than him. Kingston says Taz used to be around killers and now he’s around guys that are “big for nothing machines.”

Tully Blanchard leads Shawn Spears out but they say nothing as Kingston looks on. Taz says that Starks and Cage will fight every one of them and then calls Archer a punk ass. Starks punches Archer and a huge brawl starts. Billy Gunn runs out to join in the fight. Darby Allin runs out and attacks Starks.

A bunch of other guys, including Serpentico, get involved in the brawl. Allin chokes Starks out with a Rear Naked Choke. The Inner Circle hit the ring to join in but Best Friends come out, as well.

After commercials, the brawl ensues with the ring completely full.

Video: The Natural Nightmares, The Dark Order

A video package highlights the recent success of the Dark Order. Dustin Rhodes says that what Brodie Lee did was unforgivable and he will pay for it.

Thunder Rosa vs. Serena Deeb

Serena has not wrestled since 2017 when she competed in WWE’s Mae Young Classic. She retired in 2015 – after a few matches in Impact – and became a trainer with WWE. She was released earlier this year as a part of the COVID cuts I believe. She’s most known for her run with CM Punk as a part of the Straight Edge Society several years back. Rosa is the AEW Women’s Champion and will face Hikaru Shida this Saturday.

Rosa and Deeb chain wrestle to start things off and Rosa catches Deeb in a nice series of submissions. Rosa and Deeb lay into each other with a series of forearms and then both connect with arm drags. Rosa hits a dropkick but Deeb comes back with a Spinning Neckbreaker.

Serena starts working on the leg of Rosa by slamming her knee into the mat repeatedly before locking her in a Half Crab. Rosa reaches the ropes to break the hold.

During the break Rosa hit a Hanging Dropkick on Deeb in the corner. Rosa puts Deeb in a Straightjacket but Deeb fights her off and connects with a Straightjacket Backstabber. Deeb connects with a series of clotheslines and then an Arm Breaker followed by locking Rosa in a Hanging Octopus. Deeb transitions into a rollup for a nearfall.

Deeb charges at Rosa but she moves and Deeb crashes into the turnbuckle. Rosa hits a Flying Clothesline followed by a Flying Knee and then a Basement Dropkick for a nearfall. Rosa puts Deeb in a modified Gory Special but Deeb counters into a rollup for a nearfall. Deeb attempts an Arm Trap Piledriver but Rosa blocks it and counters into a DVD for another nearfall.

Rosa and Deeb trade nearfalls but Rosa nails Deeb with a series of strikes and then a German Suplex followed by a Flying Knee. Rosa lifts Deeb up in the air and drops her with the Thunder Driver for the pin.

Winner: Rosa via pinfall (Thunder Driver)

Backstage: Jon Moxley

Backstage Moxley says all of the distractions of a PPV Main Event will go away when the bell rings and it’s just MJF and Moxley. He asks MJF if he will be ready to kill or be killed once the bell rings and says that MJF will need to be the meanest and nastiest he’s ever been to have a shot of beating Moxley. Moxley says this is MJF’s moment and asks what he’ll do. He says that everything MJF has done until now is the easy part because now he has to get in the ring with Moxley.

Segment: Big Swole, Britt Baker

Schiavone interviews Big Swole at ringside and she says that Britt Baker has been ducking and dodging her for the longest time but she will have no place to hide at All Out when they face in the “Buy In” pre-show. Someone in a mask – clearly Reba doing a bad accent – interrupts them and distracts Swole with a pizza as Britt Baker attacks her from behind. Baker rubs Swole’s face in the pizza and then puts her in the Lockjaw.

Jon Moxley vs. Mark Sterling (MJF’s Lawyer)

If Sterling doesn’t go through with the match then the title match for All Out is off. Wardlow forces Sterling to come out to the ring. Sterling is wearing a ton of padding under full body tights.

Moxley puts his hands behind his back and dares Sterling to hit him but Sterling misses and Moxley slaps his jaw off his head. Sterling complains to Wardlow that his hearing is gone now. Moxley offers him a free shot to his back but he moves and Sterling goes flying through the ropes. “The lawyer is writhing in pain, how many times have you wanted to say that folks,” Ross asks.

Sterling tries to kick Moxley but as Moxley blocks it he pokes Mox in the eye only to then get clotheslined to hell. Moxley clotheslines Sterling to the floor and then tosses him into the barricade. Moxley beats Sterling all around ringside before tossing him back in the ring. Moxley offers a handshake but when he accepts it Moxley pokes him in the eyes and hits the Paradigm Shift for the pin.

Winner: Moxley via pinfall (Paradigm Shift)

Wardlow attacks Moxley after the match and hits him with two F10s. MJF comes out and jumps on Moxley and starts gauging at his eyes. MJF chokes Moxley and then knocks him out with the Dynamite diamond ring. Moxley is busted open and MJF starts biting the cut. Dynamite closes as MJF holds the AEW Title belt up.
