Big Cass, now going by the name “W. Morrissey” (his real name is William Morrissey), made his Impact Wrestling debut tonight at the Impact Rebellion PPV.
Cass replaced the injured Eric Young, joining the team of Violent By Design (along with Rhino, Joe Doering & Deaner) to take on Eddie Edwards, Willie Mack, James Storm & Chris Sabin. Young was shown talking to a mystery person (Cass) before the match, then Young came out onto the stage for Cass’s entrance. Cass won the match for his team with a big boot and East River Crossing on Mack, then continued to attack Mack after the match.
Eric Young suffered a torn ACL last month, so was unable to wrestle.
Cass returned to the ring in February at an indie show for the first time since September 2019.
