WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Plans for WrestleMania 37

WWE reportedly is currently planning on adding two new matches to the card of WrestleMania 37, according to PWInsider.

Mike Johnson reported that both matches are currently planned to involve the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. The first match reportedly is currently planned to take place on Night 1 and be held as a multi-woman tag team match with as many as four teams competing to determine the number one contender for the Women’s Tag Team titles.

Johnson reported that the winners of this match are currently planned to then face off against Nia Jax and Shanya Baszler for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on Night 2 of WrestleMania 37.

Reason for WrestleMania 37’s Ticket Sales Delay

As noted before, WWE delayed the official start of their ticket sales for WrestleMania 37 from its originally announced date of March 16th to March 19th instead.

Spectrum Sports 360’s Jon Alba reported that the reason for the delay was due to WWE not signing the official contract with Tampa Sports Authority in time for the original date for WrestleMania 37’s tickets sale.

Alba reported that WWE’s original plan was for the contract to be signed by March 15th but due to unknown issues WWE did not sign it until March 16th at 8:26PM. Alba also reported that Raymond James Stadium officials signed the contract hours later.

WWE Currently Planning for No Matches on Night 1’s Kickoff Show

WWE reportedly is currently rumored to be planning on not having any wrestling matches for the Kickoff Show for Night 1 of WrestleMania 37, according to WrestleVotes.

It was reported that WWE officials recently held talks over the idea that the first entrance in front of a live crowd in over a year should be a “huge deal” in terms of importance. It was reported that WWE officials are currently considering not having this special first entrance take place on Night 1’s Kickoff show and instead want it to take place on Night 1’s main show.
