AEW Confirms Location of Full Gear 2021 Event

AEW recently confirmed the rumors of this year’s Full Gear event will be taking place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The company also announced that tickets for this upcoming event will be going on sale starting on October 1st.

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) will be coming to Minneapolis, MN for AEW Full Gear on Saturday, November 13th. AEW Full Gear will emanate from the Target Center. Tickets for this historic event, airing live on Pay-Per-View go on sale this Friday, October 1st at 10AM Central via AEWTix.com. Tickets start at $29 (not including service charges or fees).

PWG Issues Statement Over Fan Assault Incident & Other Issues at Threemendous VI

As noted before, Pro Wrestling Guerilla held their Threemendous VI event this past Sunday in Los Angeles, California. This event was allegedly married by several incidents, including one involving a fan being assaulted in the bathroom during the show.

SoCalUncensored.com reported that the recent allegations of fans chanting slurs throughout the show were not true in regards to it being widespread incident. It was also reported that allegations of sexual harassment being committed towards women at the event were also not true but there was one female fan who was removed due to her constant touching of wrestlers after being warned to stop.

In regards to the allegations of a transgendered fan being assaulted in the bathroom during the show, PWG recently issued an official statement on Twitter over the issue.

“We are aware of the incident that was reported on Twitter last night during Threemendous VI. Upon learning of the report we immediately contacted the security and management of the Globe Theatre who investigated throughout the remainder of the night.

No report was made to Globe or PWG staff or management last night, however we are in contact with the victim and working closely with the Globe to address the situation.

PWG is committed to being a safe inclusive environment for all fans. We abhor and will not tolerate physical violence at our events.”


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Former wrestler Ryan Keiji Sakoda reportedly passed away at the age of 48 on September 2nd, according to PWInsider. Mike Johnson reported that Sakoda’s cause of death is currently unknown. Sakoda’s career in wrestling spanned from 1998 to 2007 and included stints in WWE, Wrestling Society X, XWF, and ZERO-ONE. Sakoda was most known for his time in WWE from 2003 to 2004 as a member of Taijiri’s Kyo Dai heel group and as the tag team partner of Akio (later known as Jimmy Wang Yang in WWE).

During a recent interview with Fightful Select, Alex Shelley stated that he is no longer working for Impact Wrestling but his current relationship with the company is fine. Shelley stated that while he is open to the idea of returning to Impact in the future, he is currently focused on his new career in Major League Wrestling.

Impact Wrestling recently announced that Mercedes Martinez is the first official entrant for their Knockouts Knockdown tournament at their upcoming Knockouts Knockdown event on October 9th.

Major League Wrestling announced that they have recently signed indie talent Beastman to an official contract with the company.
