Alisha Edwards Comments on Knockouts Ultimate X Match at Hard to Kill 2022

A recent episode of the House of Hardcore podcast had Impact Wrestling talent Alisha Edwards as the guest. Some of the topics discussed included Edwards revealing that Chris Sabin helped produce the Knockouts Ultimate X match at Impact’s Hard to Kill 2022 event earlier this month and her thoughts about not being one of the original competitors for the match.

On the topic of Chris Sabin helping to produce the Knockouts Ultimate X match, Edwards stated:

“[Chris] Sabin was one of our producers of the match which is one of the guys that have been probably in most of the Ultimate X matches. Don’t quote me on that, I don’t know the accurate history but I would say he’s been in most of them and he said that was probably one of the highest ones that he’s seen. So that kind of freaked us out a little bit so…”

On the topic of replacing Rachael Ellering and not being one of the original competitors for the match, Edwards stated:

“I did [want to be in the original Knockouts Ultimate X lineup]. I was very disappointed when they announced who was part of the match. I felt like after Monster’s Ball [at Knockouts Knockdown], I had momentum going into kind of these things and yeah, I was very disappointed.”
