More on Johnny Gargano’s Surprise Appearance in Impact Wrestling

Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling’s Impact featured a video segment hyping up Alex Shelley ahead of his match against Josh Alexander for the Impact World Championship at next month’s Emergence 2022 event. This video featured interviews from several Impact talent and also included a surprise guest appearance by former WWE talent Johnny Gargano.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Gargano’s surprise video appearance was done just as a “favor to a friend” and not the start of something more with Impact. Those same sources also stated that Gargano has not been in any recent talks with Impact for a potential deal with the company.
