The State Farm Arena recently updated their events schedule confirming that WWE cancelled their planned Day 1 event and will now be holding a house show event on December 27th at their venue.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Levesque still remains in WWE’s COVID-19 protocol and was not seen in attendance backstage during Friday’s SmackDown show in Toledo, Ohio. Those spoken to stated that Levesque has been feeling fine and is going through the proper steps to be able to exit WWE’s protocol. WWE officials reportedly are currently hopeful that he will be able to resume his normal duties next week.

Johnson reported that similar to this past Monday’s RAW show, Levesque was in contact with WWE’s creative team and producers to ensure everything met his vision and plans for Friday’s SmackDown show.
