Dominik Mysterio Comments on Reason for Judgement Day’s Thanksgiving Day Attack on Rey Mysterio

As noted before, WWE recently posted a video on Twitter that featured Judgement Day’s Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley visiting Rey Mysterio’s house uninvited for Thanksgiving, which resulted in the duo’s attack on Rey after Rey refused to allow them in the house.

A recent episode of WWE’s The Bump show had Dominik Mysterio and Ripley as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Mysterio’s reasons why they attacked his father Rey during Thanksgiving.

“Because he had his Christmas tree up before November was over. Honestly, he doesn’t deserve to just be living peacefully, you know. I had to live with his shadow my whole life, so I’m hoping to cast a big shadow over him and just keep torturing him as much as I can.”

Ripley also gave her thoughts about their attack on Rey that day.

“It was great. We went in there, trying to be nice, trying to be civil. We were hoping that we could have a nice little family get together and just have Thanksgiving together, enjoy it. But Rey once again shut the door on Dominik. He disrespected myself and Dominik by closing that door, so I wasn’t having it. Then of course, he called me a name, and Dominik snapped. I mean, that’s what happens when you’re a bad influence in front of the children at the table. He’s trying to take the spotlight for himself, and we’re not gonna stand for it.”

Mysterio also gave his thoughts about his plans for the upcoming holiday season and how it might not involved a return to his family’s house for Christmas.

“I don’t know. I take it day by day. I don’t know if we’re gonna be welcomed at my household for Christmas. But we’re gonna have to see what’s up. I kinda just go based off of what Mami likes to do. Whatever she has planned is what we’ll do.”

Leaked Internal Memo Reveals WWE Survivor Series WarGames Numbers & Data

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials recently issued an internal memo boasting about the success generated from this past Saturday’s Survivor Series WarGames event in Boston, Massachusetts.

This memo reportedly stated that this year’s Survivor Series event was the most watched event in Survivor Series history and was 46% higher in viewership than last year’s event on NBC’s Peacock service. This memo also reportedly stated that live merchandise sales and live gate was the highest ever in Survivor Series history.

WWE executives received a memo on November 30 detailing the following about the PPV:

⁃ It claimed the most-viewed Survivor Series on record, jumping 46% vs. 2021’s edition of the show

⁃  The best in-venue merchandise sales in the event’s history, up 20% from last year’s Survivor Series.

⁃ The live gate was highest ever in Boston and for Survivor Series, which Triple H noted at the post-show press conference.

⁃ Fan enjoyment rating popped 48% vs. last year. We aren’t sure how this is measured internally within WWE or the metrics associated.

⁃ It also touted (though none were on Tout) that social media video views were up year over year, with the TikTok of Roman Reigns sending Sami Zayn into the match garnering 13 million views alone.
