Kenny King Signs New Contract with Impact

The Bet Las Vegas held a recent interview with Kenny King. One of the topics discussed included King revealing that he recently signed a new one-year contract with Impact Wrestling to remain in the company.

“The news is that your boy is staying put man. I felt like I had a really good year in IMPACT Wrestling and I feel like there’s so many more things to do and so many more opponents that I’ve never even faced. Josh Alexander, Moose, Steve Maclin, that’s just a shortlist of guys that I’m eyeing and targeting. So, I’ve signed another year deal with IMPACT Wrestling. King, K-I-N-G will remain in IMPACT Wrestling for the foreseeable future, or at least this year. I’m really happy to announce that and I’m excited for what this year will bring.”

Dark Side of the Ring Season 4 Production Update

As noted before, a new season of VICE TV’s Dark Side of the Ring series is currently in production.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the upcoming fourth season of Dark Side of the Ring series is currently planned to feature episodes focusing on Abdullah The Butcher, Mike Awesome, and Bam Bam Bigelow.

Johnson reported that Mick Foley, Jim Cornette, Terry Funk, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan are among the notable people who have been interviewed for episodes for this upcoming new season.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Impact Wrestling talent Tasha Steelz reportedly was recently granted time off for at least one month, according to PWInsider. Mike Johnson reported that this was the reason why Steelz walked away from Savannah Evans at last week’s Impact show and why she did not work Impact’s most recent set of television tapings in Orlando, Florida.

Impact reportedly is currently has plans for several New Japan Pro Wrestling talents to work at their No Surrender 2023 and post-PPV tapings this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to PWInsider.

NJPW recently announced that they had pulled YOH from the card of their Road to The New Beginning 2023 event on January 31st in Yokote, Japan due to him recently falling ill with a fever.

Former WWE wrestler The Boogeyman reportedly underwent successful knee surgery last week, according to PWInsider.

A new wrestling-based documentary based on the late Chyna reportedly will be premiering this Sunday on REELZ Channel, according to Iconvsicon.com. This upcoming documentary reportedly is titled Chyna: Wrestling with Demons and focuses on the life and career of the late Chyna.

Women of Wrestling reportedly held a new set of talent tryouts this past Tuesday in Los Angels, California according to PWInsider.

This past Tuesday’s live NWA Powerrr show featured Impact Wrestling’s Santino Marella making an appearance on the show as the official for the wedding ceremony between Aaron Stevens and May Valentine. This past Tuesday’s show also featured Team Rock’n’Roll defeating Team Tyrus to win this year’s NWA Champions Series and The Country Gentlemen (A.J. Cazana & Anthony Andrews) defeating The Fixers (Jay Bradley & Wrecking Ball Legursky) to be crowned the new NWA United States Tag Team Champions.

Major League Wrestling announced that they have recently signed a new partnership deal with BetOnline.ag.
