“Superstar” Billy Graham Health Update – Hospitalized Again Over Heart Issues

As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Superstar Billy Graham is currently dealing with a bone infection that has spread to his bone ears and portion of his skull.

Graham’s wife Valerie recently provided a health update on Facebook andGoFundMe stating that Graham was brief released from the hospital only to be hospitalized again recently due to heart-related issues. Graham was also stated to have lost around 50 pounds in the past three weeks due to his on-going health issues.

Any amount would help friends, thank you. Billy was briefly released from the Mayo, put in a rehab center, and then sent back to the Mayo with heart issues. I am very worried about the champ. Taya Valkyre’s Contract Status with Impact & Other Promotions

Since her release from WWE in November of 2021, Taya Valkyrie has been working for Impact Wrestling, Lucha Libre AAA, Major League Wrestling, and the National Wrestling Alliance.

In a recent interview with Fightful Select, Valkyrie revealed that she is currently not under any actual contract with either Impact, AAA, MLW, and NWA and instead is technically currently a free agent.

Valkyrie stated that while she currently enjoys being able to work for any promotion since her release from WWE, she will be making a decision for a permanent home for her career at some point this year.

In regards to the process leading to her career in MLW, Valkyrie stated that MLW owner Court Bauer had reached out to her to gauge her interest in working for his company. Valkyrie also stated that she has enjoyed her current time in the company.

Valkyrie also stated that she is currently open to the idea of working as a backstage producer and coach and wants to learn more about both jobs.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Former wrestler Charlie “Thunderblood” Norris passed away on Monday at the age of 59. Norris’ career in wrestling spanned from 1988 to 2006 and included notable stints in Pro-Wrestling America, National Wrestling Alliance, and WCW. During his career, WWF had considered plans in 1991 to hire Norris and have him portray a Native American character due to Norris himself being an ethnic Native American. These plans were dropped in favor of WWF signing instead Chris Chavis, who became known under the ring name of Tatanka.

Beyond Wrestling recently announced that they have pulled Wheeler Yuta, Tracy Williams, and Trish Adora from the card of their Perfection or Vanity event on February 26th in Worcester, Massachusetts due to an unspecified reason. The company had also initially announced that Willow Nightingale would also not be making an appearance but later issued a correction stating that she will still be working at their event. The reason for Yuta, Williams, and Adora’s removal is currently rumored to be due to Ring of Honor’s rumored upcoming set of ROH TV tapings later this month.

D-Von Dudley recently announced that Bully Ray and himself will be making an appearance as The Dudley Boys for Icons of Wrestling at their Spring Fanfest convention on March 18th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

WrestleCon recently announced that “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Taurus will be making an appearance for the company at their Mark Hitchcock Memorial SuperShow 2023 event on March 30th in Los Angeles, California.

Major League Wrestling recently announced that the official theme song for their MLW Underground revival on REELZ Channel is “Enemies With Benefits” by Violent Idols.

Impact Wrestling reportedly will be making an announcement regarding New Japan Pro Wrestling talent appearing at their upcoming No Surrender 2023 event and post-event Impact tapings on February 24-25th in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to PWInsider.

NJPW recently announced a new match for the card of their The New Beginning in Osaka 2023 event on February 11th in Osaka, Japan:
